Behavioural interviewing techniques work on the principle that past behaviours will predict future behaviours. Interviewing is about discovering information about a person to determine if they are suitable for your organization. It costs more than three times their salary if a person is hired incorrectly and they leave in one year or less.

You will learn to
On the second day we would invite applicants for posted jobs who had qualified for interviews. These interviewees would be interviewed by the participants. Feedback would be provided by observer in the interview and by facilitator. All applicants would be guaranteed another interview for a position. The interviewers would use interview guides created by facilitator and these guides would have been introduced during the workshop. We would be able to conduct 2-3 interviews at one time, by having three break out rooms available. Each person doing the interviews would act as an observer to another interviewer as well. These round robin events would end with all participants debriefing together for the afternoon.
