Front line workers need to know themselves and understand how to work with others effectively to maximize strengths and minimize weaknesses.  “The most effective people are those who know and understand themselves and others in a specific environment.”  At the same time, we learn about the differences of others and the environment they require for maximum productivity and teamwork in the organization.  Five different styles of listening and how to use each one appropriately are important skills to have.  Listening is the way we hear, understand, and respond to the message that has been sent.  The most effective workers are those who have learned to listen well so that colleagues feel they are respected.
